Discussion includes his pioneering use of twin fiddles in bluegrass recordings; his album, Live at the Toronto Horseshoe Club; his experiences managing the WWVA Jamboree during the late 1960s; working with producer Jack Clement; recording in Nashville and the direction of his career during the early 1970s; and comments on the future of country music.
